PMU Silhouette 2 GIVEAWAY!!!

Hi friends and blog readers!  Sorry for my unexplained blogging absence.  I didn't intend to take such a break - oops! But with the busyness of the end of the school year and my kids in a million spring activities, I'm finding it easier to do most of my creative project sharing on Instagram.  Speaking of instagram, do you follow me over there (I'm @jaclynrenchstudio)?  I hope so, because I'm going to be doing a fun GIVEAWAY next week for my insta followers, with some extra goodies that I picked up at the Studio Calico warehouse sale!!!!  Fun, right?!

Design Team News and a Sneak!

Happy New Year!  I am excited to be ringing in 2016 with a fun little announcement - I have been asked to continue my term with the Just Nick design team!

 

As you can see there is loads of talent on the 2016 team and Nicole's got some fun and exciting things planned for Just Nick in the new year.

 

My design team intro (or should I call it 'refresher') is up on the blog today.  We were also tasked with the assignment to create and all about me page.  I went to work with the capture this and basic hearts cut files along with some Simple Stories I AM collection products to put together my page.

Bella of the Ball

Happy Thursday, readers!  It's been a busy week for me, despite the fact that my boys are spending the first part of their days at Vacation Bible School.  Someone please tell me how that works?!  I think I'm still catching up from the weekend's illness and add to the fact that I thought it would be a good time to start potty-training my littlest.... Never a dull moment! 

I thought I'd take a break from the chaos to stop in and share with you a little something I've been working on 'behind the scenes'.  If you haven't yet checked out the Bella blog today, then you might not know that the June Newsletter was released. I was honored to contribute to this issue as the 'Bella of the Ball'.  Here's a little sneaky peeky...

A peek at some upcoming projects

Happy Sunday!  Hope you are enjoying a warm and pleasant day, like we are here in Ohio.  I'm about to step out to take my youngest son to his second flag football game of the season.  But before I do, I wanted to pop in and share some peeks at a couple of things I have been working on behind the scenes.  It's always hard to keep from sharing fun scrappy news, but now I can give you a little taste of two exciting projects I've had a little hand in recently.  

If you're a fan of sketches (like I am!) then you're certain to know the name Becky Fleck and Pagemaps - those three names are practically synonymous! A recent visit to the Pagemaps site might have clued you in that something big is happening over there.  Becky and Pagemaps have revealed a new online educational program titled PagemapsU.

Registration for the first class begins on October 1st, but starting today you can preview a sample of the class for FREE on the Pagemaps website here. How exciting is that?  I am very honored to be one of the designers asked to create projects for this fun, new educational program.  I hope you'll hop over and check out the first free session.  It features step by step directions for creating a darling card by Becky and a super cute layout from Kelly Goree.  Not only that, but you can download some free exclusive cut files for you diecut machine!

I also wanted to share a peek of something fun that will be available from Bella Blvd, tomorrow!

Bella Blvd CHA Sneak Peek: Trick or Treat

The excitement continues as more sneak peeks of Bella Blvd's newest collections are revealed this week!

 

For many it may feel like summer is just getting started, but already many of the stores are putting up their back to school displays and fall décor.  Even if you feel like you're not quite ready to move ahead to that time of year, you might change your mind, once you get a peek at this new collection from Bella Blvd! 

 

 

There is not one piece from this collection that I don't absolutely love!  But if I had to pick a favorite it would be this patterned paper called 'Daily Details'.  Not only is it perfect for creative scrapbooking, but is also sized to fit some of the compartments in many Project Life style albums. 

 

The B side is a sweet little candy corn print!

Bella Blvd CHA Sneak Peek: Playdate

I'm back again today with, you guessed it, more Bella Blvd peeks!!!! 

 

I know, I for one, have been waiting for a collection of this type for quite some time.

 

If you've got any little ones in your life, like me, you probably have plenty of pictures of them frolicking in the outdoors and/or local playground.  If so, you'll find the images in this collection just right for your photos!

 

 

One of my favorite patterned paper pieces from this new collection is titled 'Park Play'.  How cute are those trees and swings?!

 

 

The B side of the paper features an array of super sweet Bella clouds on a fresh aqua blue background.  Too cute!

Bella Blvd CHA Sneak Peek: Snapshots

Good Monday morning!  You're in for a real treat this week if you're a Bella Blvd fan.  As I hinted to you last week, Bella is revealing the first look at their five new collections that will debut at Summer CHA, all this week on the blog.

 

The first reveal is the Snapshots collection.

 

 

Here's a look at the collection overall.  I'm in love with the color palette!  And as you can imagine from the collection name, it's filled with adorable little camera images and cute sayings.

I'm not gonna lie, it was hard to pick a favorite paper from this new line - they are all so cute.  In the end though, I couldn't resist 'My Point of View' -- those camera, SWOON!

Even the B side of this paper, is a cute and very usable notebook paper design...

Bella Blvd's Summer Release

If you are a papercrafter, then you already know that the next few weeks are like Christmas in July. Not only will there be loads of new and inspiring products debuting at the CHA Summer trade show at the end of the month, but the coming weeks will be filled with sneak peeks of many of those lines.

Bella Blvd has not one, not two ... but FIVE new collection debuting at the show.  Here's a look at the collection names and logos....

A Peek and a GIVEAWAY!

TGIF!  Is anyone else glad it's Friday? I'm looking forward to a fun family weekend, since my hubby will be off work.  I'm sure we'll spend some time in the water, as the temps are going to be soaring into the 90's, and if my kids get their way we'll also be heading to the theater to check out the new Monster's University flick.
